Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has extended warm greetings and best wishes of ‘Alai, Balai Utsav’ organized by the Alai Balai Foundation in Hyderabad
Chandigarh, October 6, 2022: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has extended warm greetings and best wishes of ‘Alai, Balai Utsav’ organized by the Alai Balai Foundation in Hyderabad on Thursday. The chairperson of Alai Balai Foundation is Smt Bandaru Vijayalaxmi, daughter of Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya.
In his message, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said that India has a long tradition of people from different sections of the society coming together to celebrate various festivals. “In fact, it is one of the specialties of our festivals, which strengthen social bonds,” he said, adding that the Alai Balai festival has also reflected this beautiful tradition.
He said that the success of this festival in the last more than a decade is a hallmark of our rich culture. This year also this festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm and gaiety, he said.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in his message has further said that the festival, being successfully celebrated for the past decade, has also emerged as a platform for the vibrant traditions, ethos and cuisines of Telangana.
Alai Balai festival provides an opportunity to our artists and folk artists to showcase our diverse culture through performances in an atmosphere of spirituality and harmony, he said.
He said that the country is following the path of Panchprana or five principles to take India to greater heights in the nectar of independence. Amidst these principles, there is also a call to celebrate our heritage over the next 25-year period.
Alai Balai Utsav is a commendable initiative of this celebration which contributes to this mission, he said, while congratulating the countrymen and the people of Telangana for the successful organization of Alai Balai festival.
