Haryana is a progressive and resourceful state- Governor
Governor’s priority list: Education, Health, Employment, Agriculture sectors, generating employment avenues and enhancing Skill Development
Chandigarh, September 11- Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatreya has said that Haryana is a progressive and resourceful State and is ahead in many aspects as compared to other states in the country. To ensure further growth of Haryana there should be emphasis on education, health, employment, agriculture sectors (especially organic farming), generating employment avenues as well as enhancing Skill Development etc.
Besides this, he said that along with ethical values, professional and technical practices, promotion of infrastructure is also among his priorities.

Will defeat Covid: Governor
He said that at present the administration of Covid vaccine is being implemented throughout the country including Haryana and the myths in this regard are being unmasked gradually.
New Education Policy to be implemented by the year 2025
The Governor said that it is for the first time that a one-day workshop of Vice Chancellors and Registrars of Universities was organized in which Chief Minister and Education Minister also participated. Similarly, workshops were also organised for skill development in which the office bearers and Vice Chancellors of Vishwakarma University participated. He said that soon a meeting regarding health would also be taken by him. He said that he has been asked to implement the New Education Policy in the state by 2025, for which the Vice Chancellors of the universities are also working.
State’s sports policy commendable
Sh. Dattatreya said that Haryana’s Sports policy is commendable, due to which the players of Haryana have given a new identity to the State in the country and in the world as well during the recent Olympic Games.
Parivar Pehchan Patra will be efficient
The Governor informed that the work of Parivar Pehchan Patra is going to benefit the poor people and will help in eradicating poverty and it can contribute significantly in employment generation.
Welfare work for migrant labourers
While expressing his desire to work for the betterment of migrant labourers, the Governor said that he has zeal to work for the welfare of migrant labourers, which includes ensuring minimum wages, housing, welfare schemes and policies, health and education etc. He said that he also wants suggestions for the welfare of migrant labourers. He added that the Government is open for valuable suggestions.
Organizations like NCC and Red Cross can play an important role in helping people – Governor
He said that there is a need to increase the participation of people under the Red Cross. In addition, there is a need to focus on the supply chain along with fresh recruitments. Similarly, organizations like NCC and Red Cross can play an important role in helping people.
Institutions like Red Cross, Saket and for Child Welfare should be utilized properly – Governor
In response to another question, he said that institutes like Red Cross, Saket and those for Child Welfare have been set up with a good ideology and should be utilized properly. In response to another question, the Governor said that as far as filling up vacancies in Universities is concerned, it is a huge responsibility and should be done in a phased manner by the year 2025.
Governor wants the farmers’ movement to be resolved as soon as possible
The Governor said that he wants the Central and State Governments to make efforts to resolve the farmers’ issue at the earliest. He said that the solution to any problem is dialogue and this process should be continuous which is the only way to conclude this issue.
