    Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya watching the demo of virtual class room at Raj Bhavan

    Chandigarh, August 9, 2022: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday said that along with providing online and virtual education to children, they should also be taught about moral and human values. Our children should be made aware of India’s great cultural legacy. Children who are rich in character will become better citizens of the country.
    Shri Dattatraya was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of Real Time Interactive Virtual Classrooms started by the Haryana State Child Welfare Council, Chandigarh and Honda India Limited, Dharuhera, at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. Initially, this facility has been started in three districts of Haryana, namely, Panchkula, Karnal and Gurugram. A virtual class demo was also organized on the occasion.

    The Governor also stressed the need for taking feedback from the children constantly so that gaps are addressed timely and effectively. He said that children from weaker sections of society such as SCs, STs, and OBCs should be equipped and trained to take the benefits of online teaching and coaching facilities so that they can prepare themselves well for competitive examinations like NEET, JEE and other such exams.

    Haryana State Child Welfare Council Secretary General Smt Ranjita Mehta said that the facility of virtual classrooms will be available for poor students, and those studying in government schools in Classes VI to XII. On this occasion, Secretary to Governor Shri Atul Dwivedi, officers of the State Child Welfare Council and Honda India Limited were present.
