Shri Dattatraya was interacting with Shri Birender Singh Yadav, a 1997 batch Indian Foreign Service officer at Raj Bhavan on Monday. Shri Yadav is presently a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and Senior Director Staff (Foreign Services) in the National Defense College.
Shri Yadav was having an interactive session with the Governor today under the “Mid Career Training Program” of the Central Government.
Governor Shri Dattatraya said that officers can contribute significantly in resolving the problems of Indian people living abroad by taking feedback from various states under their training programmes.
He said that he was proud of the fact that Shri Yadav hailed from Haryana and he was successfully holding an important post in the Ministry of External Affairs.
Shri Birender Singh Yadav said that he had a meeting with the Hon’ble Governor under the ‘Mid Career Training Program’, which was very fruitful. He also discussed about the activities of Defense College in this meeting.
