Chandigarh, September 1, 2022: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday said that telecom officers can play an important role in strengthening security apparatus in border areas of the country. They should work out effective planning for implementing the communication related plans of the government in coordination with concerned ministries and departments.
Shri Dattatraya was interacting with a delegation of 16-member newly appointed officers of the Indian Telecom Service of 2020 batch at Raj Bhavan here. He wished them good luck for their bright future. All these officers are undergoing 15 weeks training at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurugram.
Shri Dattatraya said that today is the age of information and communication. Information and communication have an important role to play in every field. It is necessary to strengthen the information system in updating people about schemes and programs of the government meant for them. These officers were accompanied by Dr Jogender Singh, Course Coordinator of the Haryana Institute of Public Administration.
