Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has expressed his grief over the passing away of veteran actor and director Shri Satish Kaushik

Chandigarh, March 9, 2023: Hon’ble Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has expressed his grief over the passing away of veteran actor and director Shri Satish Kaushik, who was also the Chairman of Haryana Film Promotion Board.

 

In a statement, Shri Dattatraya said: “I am deeply pained at the passing away of versatile actor Shri Satish Kaushik ji. His terrific acting will ever be cherished by generations to come. My heartfelt condolences to his family members, friends and admirers! May his soul rest in eternal peace!”

 

Shri Dattatraya said that born on April 13, 1956 in Mahendragarh district of Haryana, Shri Kaushik ji rose to prominence in the world of acting through his sheer hard work and dedication, and left an indelible mark on millions of his admirers through his versatile roles.

        

The Governor said that as the Chairman of the Haryana Film Promotion Board, Shri Satish Kaushik ji was doing his best to promote Haryanavi film, art and culture. His death has caused an irreparable loss to the film industry and Haryanavi film industry as well, said Shri Dattatraya
