Haryana Governor Sh Bandaru Dattatraya today visited the residence of martyr Anuj Rajput in Sector- 20 here and paid rich tributes to the departed soul. He also consoled the family members of the martyr and assured them all support and cooperation of the State Government.
Sh Dattatraya expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and said the State Government is with them in this hour of need. While describing martyr Major Anuj Rajput as a promising officer, he said that today the whole country is feeling proud of his valour. The Governor said that Major Anuj Rajput has made the supreme sacrifice for the country. The sacrifice made by him would not go in vain as it will inspire the young generation. He said that the brave soldiers of Haryana have always been in the forefront in sacrificing their lives for the unity and integrity of the country and martyr Major Anuj is also one of them. We all should stand by the family of Major Anuj, who was not only a brilliant officer but also a promising player He was a successful pilot. His martyrdom will always be remembered with reverence. Major Anuj Rajput was martyred in a helicopter crash in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on September 21. The Governor also interacted with the children in the family and encouraged them to work hard in their life. Among those present on this occasion included Sh Kulbansh Singh, father of Martyr Major Anuj Rajput, mother Smt. Usha Rani, other family members and relatives, Secretary to Governor Sh Atul Dwivedi, Deputy Commissioner, Sh Vinay Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sh Mohit Handa and other officers of District Administration Panchkula.
