    Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya has said that Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is a sacred book, which imparts the message of equality, justice, fraternity and freedom.

    Sh. Dattatraya was addressing a digital conference on Tuesday organised jointly by Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind and Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal on the topic “Ethics and Philosophy in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita–An antidote to the Challenges of Human Life”. He elaborated that we all want to live a happy and a complete life and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is the guiding light to achieve this. He added that Shrimad Bhagvad Gita teaches us the art of living and thus is considered as an antidote for the difficulties of human life which is a universal truth. Sh. Dattatraya said that Shrimad Bhagavad Gita grooms humans to face every difficulty in life and helps in building confidence. He said that the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita begins with the word ‘Dharma’– ‘Dharma-kṣhetre Kuru-kṣhetre Samavetā Yuyutsavaḥ. Here the word dharma does not refer to any sect, but here the word dharma means duty, moral values and social order, better life management. He added that 700 verses of Gita expound 700 sutras of life. The truth is that the Gita is the best way to solve problems of life. He said that the whole world has bowed down for years before this immortal message of Bhagavad Gita. He said that programmes and conferences related to Bhagavad Gita on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will inspire the youth to contribute to build the nation in a positive manner and protect humanity. He appealed to the youth and students that if everyone studies the sacred book of Bhagavad Gita, then they will be ready to face any difficulties in life. This conference was organized by Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand ji, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University Jind Vice Chancellor Prof. Somnath Sachdeva, Shri Shankaranand ji.
