    Governor of Haryana Sh Bandaru Dattatreya paying floral tributes to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh at Raj Bhavan

    Haryana Governor Sh Bandaru Dattatreya has said that young generation needs to work hard for nation building by taking inspiration from the martyrdom of great heroes like Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh so that their dreams come true and a strong and vibrant India is made. This was stated by him while paying his homage to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on his jayanti today at Raj Bhavan. Sh Dattatraya said that Sardar Bhagat Singh was full of the spirit of freedom since his childhood. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre left a deep impact on the thinking of Bhagat Singh. He left his studies midway and jumped into the freedom movement and formed an organization of youths. In this way, Sardar Bhagat Singh created a strong urge for independence in the hearts of the youths of the country, which finally led to our independence, he said. The Governor said that Sardar Bhagat Singh was a true patriot. Today the country is paying tributes to a true patriot. We will all remain indebted to our brave martyrs, said Sh Dattatraya, adding that today the country is celebrating Amrit Ka Mahotsav, which is receiving a huge response from the people across the country because of the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs. Youths will have to play an important role for national unity and nation building by learning lessons from our freedom fighters and the historical events of our freedom struggle movement, said Sh Dattatraya.
