    Governor and Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Shri Bandaru Dattatreya laid the foundation stone of Savitribai Phule Reading-Cum-Multipurpose Hall in the Girls’ Hostel Complex of the university

    Haryana Governor and Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Shri Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday laid the foundation stone of Savitribai Phule Reading-Cum-Multipurpose Hall in the Girls’ Hostel Complex of the university.

    MDU Vice Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh,MDU Vice Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh, Registrar Prof GL Taneja, Dean (AA) Prof Nov Rattan Sharma, Chief Warden (Girls) Prof Sanju Nanda, and other university functionaries were present on the occasion.

    The Governor-Chancellor also planted a sapling on the occasion. The two-storeyed Savitribai Phule Reading-cum-Multipurpose Hall will have the capacity to accommodate 300 students in the reading hall. The facility of computer work stations will be on its upper floor. This facility will immensely benefit the girl students of the university. Governor-Chancellor Shri Dattatraya also participated in ‘yagya’ programme on the campus. Prof Surender Kumar, Head, Department of Yogic Studies, conducted the ‘yagya’ on the campus.
