Entrepreneur-Achiever Awards Event at Mount View, Sector 10 Chandigarh

Good Evening!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
1. At the very outset I would like to congratulate the Public Relations Council of India and the Media Federation of India for their decision to honour entrepreneurs and achievers. It is certainly a great motivating and inspiring gesture.
2. The hard work and dedication of our distinguished awardees have played an important role in the growth and development of our great country.
Their tireless efforts have brought about significant improvements in various sectors, such as social, education, healthcare, security, civil services, policing, entertainment, sports, media, public relations, real estate, telecom, women empowerment, etc. I heartily compliment them!
3. Ladies and Gentlemen,
We all know very well that India is going through an inflection point driven by several factors.
In the past nine years, our country has witnessed a remarkable transformation in almost every walk of our economic and social life.
There is a significant improvement in the ease of doing business. As on February 28, 2023, India had over ninety two thousand recognized startups. The number is increasing every day.
Since the launch of Startup India initiative in 2016 under the visionary leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the startup ecosystem in our country has improved like anything.
4. Dear Friends,
In fact, entrepreneurship is the backbone of any economy. We are fortunate to have many talented and innovative entrepreneurs among us.
They have taken risks and have worked tirelessly to turn their dreams into reality. They have created jobs, contributed to the economy and have made a positive impact on society.
We are honouring these champions who have shown exceptional leadership, innovation and vision. They have demonstrated that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
Under their leadership, our country has witnessed remarkable progress, and we are confident that they will continue to work towards achieving even greater heights.
5. We also recognize our achievers who have excelled in their respective fields. They have set high standards and have worked hard to achieve their goals.
They have inspired others to follow in their footsteps and have made us proud of their achievements.
Today, we celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge the hard work and dedication that has gone into achieving them. We hope that their success will inspire others to strive for excellence and to never give up on their dreams.
6. It is heartening indeed that our youth are dreaming and striving to become job givers, and not job seekers. It is a great sign, which will go a long way in realizing the goal of a developed India.
As I conclude, I would make a humble submission to all of you to extend every possible help to young boys and girls from weaker sections of society in developing their entrepreneurial skills.
For want of resources and guidance, most of them are not able to pursue their business goals. Do help them. It will give you a great sense of fulfilment and pride.
Once again, I congratulate all entrepreneurs and achievers who have been honoured today.
