Chandigarh, April 14, 2022: Dr BR Ambedkar not only laid the foundation of a strong and inclusive India by giving us the Constitution but also worked hard to change the destiny of the country which the generations to come will remember with respect, said Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya while speaking as the Chief Guest at Dr BR Ambedkar jayanti celebration organized at Ambedkar Bhawan, Kurukshetra today.
Shri Dattatraya said that Dr Ambedkar has given us the fundamental mantra to educate every citizen for an all round progress of the society and the country. Educated youth won’t only be an asset for us but will also contribute significantly to make India strong, culturally vibrant and socially harmonious, he said.
He stressed the need for laying more emphasis on ensuring education to those from underprivileged and backward sections of society. He said that today every person in the society should take inspiration from the life of Babasaheb and join hands in building a healthy and empowered India. Shri Dattatraya also inaugurated Dr Ambedkar Gallery at Dr BR Ambedkar Bhawan today.
