Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has lauded the work and determination of all corona warriors on the completion of one year of Covid-19 vaccination campaign

CHANDIGARH, JANUARY 16: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has lauded the work and determination of all corona warriors on the completion of one year of Covid-19 vaccination campaign. Government officials, doctors, paramedical staff, social and religious organizations and volunteers have contributed significantly to the success of this campaign.
He said that Covid-19 vaccination campaign is being run by all the corona warriors with total commitment thanks to which 156.77 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country out of which 59 crore people have been given both the doses of vaccine. India is the first country in the world where 2.50 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been given in a day.
Shri Dattatraya said that a very commendable work has been done in Haryana as well in administering anti-Covid vaccination. So far, more than three crore 78 lakh 75 thousand 788 doses of vaccine have been given to the eligible population in the state. Two crore 20 lakh have been given the first dose of vaccine, while one crore 58 lakh 33 thousand 825 people have been given both doses of vaccine.
Haryana Governor Shri Dattatraya has appealed to the general public that all the people should get vaccinated at the vaccination centers set up by government and other agencies He has also called upon them to follow the rules of protocol laid down by the government, wear masks and follow social distancing and avoid unnecessary crowding.
