Respected Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen!
I extend to all of you warm greetings and wishes of Uttar Pradesh Diwas, a day that reminds us of the glorious legacy, cultural vibrancy and enduring spirit of India’s most historically significant state.
Uttar Pradesh is not merely a geographical entity but is the very soul of India’s civilisation, tradition and democratic values. This sacred land is home to Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi – three eternal pillars of India’s spiritual heritage.
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya stands today as a symbol of faith, unity and cultural resurgence, reflecting centuries of devotion and resilience. Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Kashi, the eternal city on the banks of the Ganga, continue to guide millions on the path of spirituality, knowledge and moral strength.
Dear Friends,
Uttar Pradesh has also played a decisive role in India’s freedom struggle. From the First War of Independence in 1857 to the freedom movements led by Mahatma Gandhi, this land produced fearless revolutionaries, visionary leaders and countless unsung heroes who sacrificed everything for the nation’s independence.
Today, Uttar Pradesh is steadily emerging as an engine of economic growth. With rapid infrastructure development, expressway networks, industrial corridors, investment-friendly policies and a strong focus on manufacturing, agriculture, and technology, the state is charting a new course towards prosperity and self-reliance.
On this Uttar Pradesh Diwas, let us reaffirm our commitment to preserving our heritage while embracing progress. Together, let us work to build a stronger, inclusive and developed Uttar Pradesh that continues to inspire India and the world.
Jai Hind! Jai Uttar Pradesh!
