    About the Governor

    Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh is the 19th Governor of Haryana, appointed on 21st July 2025 by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. A renowned educationist, Prof. Ghosh has contributed immensely to Indian academia for over four decades.

    He has authored 10 books, published 50+ research papers, and mentored 25 Ph.D. scholars. He has also served on national committees for higher education reforms, rural development, and digital literacy.
