Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya extends greetings on International Women’s Day
Chandigarh, March 8, 2025: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Haryana and the entire country on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Emphasizing the invaluable contributions of women in all spheres of life, Shri Dattatraya lauded the efforts of the Government of Haryana under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini in ensuring the upliftment of women through various progressive policies and initiatives.
He highlighted Haryana’s remarkable strides in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and social welfare, which are enabling women to achieve new heights of success. “The state is steadfast in its resolve to create a safer, more inclusive, and opportunity-driven environment for women. Be it through the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign or enhanced employment opportunities, Haryana continues to set an example in empowering women across all sectors,” Shri Dattatraya said.
The Governor called upon every citizen to champion gender equality and work collectively towards a society where women have equal access to opportunities and rights. He also extended his best wishes to all the women achievers who are making Haryana and the nation proud. “On International Women’s Day, let us all pledge to respect, support, and uplift women in our families, workplaces, and communities. Women are the foundation of a strong and progressive society, and their empowerment is essential for the nation’s growth,” he added.
