Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Friday visited Haryana Pavilion of ‘Wings India 2022’ being organized at Begumpet airport Hyderabad
Chandigarh, March 25, 2022: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Friday visited Haryana Pavilion of ‘Wings India 2022’ being organized at Begumpet airport Hyderabad. He interacted with Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Civil Aviation Minister Shri Dushyant Chautala at the pavilion set up by the Civil Aviation Department, Haryana and conveyed his best wishes.
Shri Dattatraya said that being close to the National Capital, Haryana has better prospects in the field civil aviation sector. Referring to Hisar, he said that all the basic facilities have been created for the expansion of the airport in Hisar.
Soon an integrated aviation hub will be established in Hisar. It will be spread over an area of about 7200 acres of land. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 4720 crore. A state-of-the-art heli-hub facility will also be set up in Gurugram.
The Governor said that with the commencement of civil aviation services in Gurugram and Hisar, industrial, commercial development will get a big boost and will bring investment to the state. Pilot training facilities will also be available so that not only the state but also the youth of other states will become pilots.
Shri Dattatraya conveyed his best wishes and congratulations to all employees and officers at the Haryana Pavilion. Shri Dushyant Chautala Dy. C M briefed Hon’ble Governor that they are having meetings with various groups like FEDEX to develop Hisar Airport in Haryana. It will promote aviation industry in that region and also develop infrastructure of the region. It will also create jobs for the youth. Hon’ble Governor also suggested that Haryana should also set up training institutes to train young Pilots. Shri Sudhir Rajpal Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation, Shri Anil Rao Rtd IPS Advisor to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana were also present.
