    overnor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatraya joining the launch program of “e-RUPI”, e-voucher based digital payment solution, through video conference, in New Delhi

    Chandigarh August 02:- The Governor of Haryana, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya on Monday said that “e-RUPI” digital payment solution launched by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi today, will prove to be a milestone in eliminating corruption in the country. Sh. Dattatraya attended this program through video conference on Monday evening. He has congratulated the people of the state on the introduction of “e-RUPI.”
    He said that there will now be such a system in the country in the form of “e-RUPI” in which there is no intermediary between the beneficiary and the service provider. The payment will go directly to the beneficiary’s account through an arrangement and the beneficiary will also get a message on the registered mobile number.
    Sh. Dattatraya said that during the tenure of the present government, many programs have been started to provide direct benefits to the people, so that there is limited contact point between the government and the beneficiary. He said that for this “e-RUPI”, which is e-voucher based digital payment solution, there will be no need of card, digital payment app or online banking.
    He said that e-services have been started in Haryana to establish good governance and make it a corruption free state. Single registration facility for government jobs through Good Governance from e-governance, establishment of family identity card portal, Atal Seva Kendras, Saral Kendras, Antyodaya Kendras, Antyodaya Saral Kendras as well as e-office have been started. He said he is happy that the state has also received Digital India Award-2020 for Antyodaya Saral Project.
