The Governor of Haryana has given warm congratulations and best wishes to the Indian women’s hockey team for reaching the semi-finals

Chandigarh 02 August:- The Governor of Haryana Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya has given warm congratulations and best wishes to the Indian women’s hockey team for reaching the semi-finals. Women’s hockey team has created history by registering a tremendous win over Australia. He hopes that the women’s hockey team will make the countrymen and all the women proud by getting a medal in the Olympics. He said that 09 girls in the Indian women’s hockey team are from Haryana state. It is a matter of more pride for the people of the state. The captain of the women’s team is also from (Shahbad) Haryana. He has sent warm wishes from his side to all the players of the Indian Hockey team and expressed confidence that this player will do better in the next match as well.
Sh. Dattatraya congratulated the Indian players, athletes and all the players participating in various sports. He also said that it is a matter of pride for the people of the state. In Tokyo Olympics-2020, 30 players from Haryana are participating in various sports. It is a matter of happiness for all the people of the state.
