Move forward with new hopes and resolutions in health and education sectors: Governor

Chandigarh, January 1, 2025: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya along with Lady Governor Smt Bandaru Vasantha performed puja at Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Panchkula, on the occasion of the New Year on Wednesday and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. He also extended New Year greetings and best wishes to the people of Haryana.
Governor Shri Dattatraya expressed hope that Haryana will achieve unprecedented progress in economic, social, health, and education sectors, moving forward with new aspirations and resolutions.
He urged the Haryana government to continue implementing innovative initiatives in the New Year, particularly in agriculture, irrigation, and self-employment, to enable the youth of the state to advance with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Achieving these goals, he said, will usher in an era of all-round economic prosperity for the citizens.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Shri Dattatraya emphasized the need to pledge in the New Year to work for the upliftment of farmers and the underprivileged so that their social and economic standards improve, and they get opportunities to progress. He said that farmers are the backbone of the nation, and working for their welfare opens doors to economic success for the state and the country.
Shri Bandaru Dattatraya highlighted Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047 and wished for India’s unparalleled growth in the global economic arena with significant participation from its citizens. He also lauded Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini for his dedicated work for public welfare, fostering harmony and brotherhood. The Governor stressed that a resolution focused on the agricultural sector in the New Year will open pathways for farmers’ progress, bringing prosperity and well-being to every citizen.
On this occasion, Smt B Vijayalakshmi, Ms Vedanshi, Ms Yashodhara, Shri Bandaru Shiv Shankar, Shri Akash Bandaru, Shri Mithilesh Bandaru, Shri Bandaru Dinesh, Shri Vinod, Aarush, Shrestha, Shreyas, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ms Nisha Yadav, DCP Ms Himadri Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer Shri Ashok Bansal, and several senior officials were present.
