Chandigarh, January 19, The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has always been at the forefront of public service by displaying high level of dedication in tune with their motto – आपदा सेवा सदैव सर्वत्र – which means sustained disaster response service under all circumstances.
In our fight against Covid-19, NDRF personnel have set a unique example of public service by providing oxygen and other supplies to the needy patients and hospitals. The nation is with such brave officers, employees and their families.
This was stated by Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Wednesday while congratulating them on 17th National Disaster Response Force Raising Day. He said the brave employees and officers of NDRF help the people in every situation of disaster.
Not only in the country but also outside India, the brave personnel of NDRF have played an important role in saving human lives and wealth. This force has no match so far as their professionalism in disaster management is concerned. For this reason, India has also become the centre of training for disaster management personnel of the SAARC region.
He said that whenever there is a disaster like situation in the country, NDRF personnel have always been in the forefront of the rescue operation. Governor Shri Dattatraya also wished for their bright future while sending the best wishes to NDRF officers, personnel and their families.
