Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh visits Mother Teresa Saket Orthopaedic Hospital, Panchkula

Chandigarh, August 31, 2025: Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Sunday visited Mother Teresa Saket Orthopaedic Hospital, Panchkula. He was accompanied by his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh.

During his visit, Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh interacted with doctors, nurses, and staff members to understand the range of medical services being provided at the hospital.

He appreciated the hospital management for maintaining high standards of patient care, particularly in the field of orthopaedic treatment, rehabilitation, and trauma management.

Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh took a round of the hospital and enquired about the availability of medical equipment, infrastructure, and specialist services.

The Governor encouraged the hospital administration to further strengthen outreach programs so that specialized orthopaedic care can reach even the underprivileged sections of society.

Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh assured the hospital management of all possible support from the Raj Bhavan in their endeavours to serve society. He expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication of doctors and medical staff.

Those present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav, Director General, Health, Manish Bansal, Hospital Director Rani Singh, Dr DK Nagpal and Dr Saurabh among others.
