    Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh pays obeisance to Lord Shri Vishwakarma on Vishwakarma Day

    Chandigarh, October 22, 2025- Hon’ble Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Wednesday paid obeisance to Lord Shri Vishwakarma, the divine architect and deity of creation and craftsmanship, on the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Day at Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh.

    Secretary to Governor Shri DK Behera also paid his obeisance to Lord Shri Vishwakarma on the occasion.

    Hon’ble Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, while extending his greetings to the people of Haryana on the occasion, said that Vishwakarma Day reminds everyone of the spirit of skill, innovation and dedication that are essential for building a progressive and self-reliant nation.

    The Governor lauded the contribution of craftsmen, engineers, architects and all those engaged in creative and constructive professions, stating that their hard work and ingenuity form the foundation of a developed society.

    He urged citizens to draw inspiration from the ideals of Lord Vishwakarma and rededicate themselves to excellence, integrity and service to humanity. Raj Bhavan officials and staff also participated in the ceremony and offered floral tributes to Lord Shri Vishwakarma.
