    Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh pays obeisance at Gurdwara Nada Sahib

    Chandigarh, August 31, 2025: Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Sunday paid his obeisance at the famous Gurdwara Nada Sahib, Panchkula, along with his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh.

    Governor Prof Ghosh said that he was extremely honoured and blessed to have visited the historic and pious Gurdwara Nada Sahib. He also appreciated the efforts of the gurdwara management aimed at the upliftment of the poor.

    The Governor announced a financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the support of the poor. He also promised all support to the gurdwara while interacting with members of the management committee.

    Governor Prof Ghosh hailed the bravery and supreme sacrifices of the Sikh community made for the country’s security. The management committee of Gurdwara Nada Sahib honoured Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh and his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh with Siropa on the occasion.

    Prominent among those present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Shristi Gupta, Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Jagdish Singh Jhinda, religious leader Baljit Singh Daduwal, Gurdwara management committee member Swarn Singh Banga Tibba, BJP District President Ajay Mittal, head Granthi of the gurdwara Jagjit Singh and other esteemed guests.
