Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh interacts with 25 students of Kathua

Chandigarh, September 29, 2025: Hon’ble Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Monday interacted with 25 students of Gujjar Bakkarwal community of Kathua region of Jammu and Kashmir. Hon’ble Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh was accompanied by his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh.

Led by Lt Col Amreek Singh, these children comprising 12 girls and 13 boys called on Hon’ble Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh as part of the ongoing National integration tour under Sadbhavna Tour-2025-26 programme being organized by the Rising Star Corps of Indian Army.

Hon’ble Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh encouraged them to study hard and contribute to the progress of J&K and the nation as a whole. Hon’ble Governor Prof Ghosh told them that the nation as a whole is behind them.

This inspiring interaction under Operation Sadbhavna deepened their connection with Indian heritage and democracy and encouraged students to pursue education and embrace unity.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Shri Dushmanta Kumar Behera, Secretary to Governor, ADC to Governor Sqn Ldr Mohan Krishna P, Lt Priyanka Sevda, Smt Santosh Sharma and Sh Rajeev, teachers, officials of Raj Bhavan and personnel of Indian Army.
