    Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh extends warm greetings on the eve of Teacher’s Day

    Chandigarh, September 4, 2025: Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on the eve of Teacher’s Day has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the teaching fraternity of Haryana and the nation as a whole.

    Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh said that teachers play a pivotal role in nation-building by nurturing young minds with knowledge, values, and wisdom. Their selfless dedication not only shapes the future of individual students but also lays the foundation for a strong, inclusive and progressive society.

    He emphasized that teachers have always been the guiding force behind India’s growth story, inspiring generations to contribute meaningfully to the nation.

    Highlighting the importance of the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Governor said that it provides a futuristic roadmap for India’s educational transformation.

    He called upon teachers to actively participate in the successful implementation of NEP-2020, which aims to foster holistic learning, creativity, innovation, and a spirit of inquiry among students. Prof Ghosh underlined that teachers will continue to remain the torchbearers in realizing the vision of making India a knowledge-driven and globally competitive nation.

    Talking about Haryana’s progress in the field of education under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Governor Prof Ghosh expressed satisfaction that the state has consistently performed well across multiple parameters, including school enrollment, digital initiatives, skill development and higher education.

    The Governor said Haryana’s commitment to strengthening both rural and urban education systems reflects the state’s resolve to ensure equitable and quality education for all sections of society.
