Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya, while conveying his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, has urged them to strengthen personal bonding and work hard for prosperity, happiness and progress of all.

In his Raksha Bandhan message issued on Saturday, Shri Dattatraya said the festival of Raksha Bandhan gives the message to strengthen the relationship between sister and brother. On this holy festival, we all should take a pledge to respect women and increase their importance and participation in building a vibrant nation.

All the people of the state should celebrate this festival with great gaiety in tune with our great social and family traditions. Our culture is the real power of our society, he said.
