Governor pays tribute to Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji

Chandigarh, February 12, 2025: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Wednesday paid his tribute to Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Prayagraj.
During his visit, he met with Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, the President and Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh. The Governor and Swami Ji engaged in a cordial discussion.
On this occasion, the Governor, along with his family, garlanded the idol of Saint Guru Ravidas Ji and paid his respects. He emphasized the significance of the day, marking the birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas Ji, and extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Haryana.
He highlighted that Sant Ravidas Ji preached the values of humanity, equality, and devotion. His disciple, Meera Bai, embraced the path of Shri Krishna Bhakti under his guidance and immortalized divine love through her hymns.
The sant’s teachings emphasized that true salvation is attained through devotion and righteous actions. The Governor urged everyone to follow his principles and spread love, equality, and devotion in society.
