    Chandigarh, July 17, 2024: Aasha Malaviya, a solitary female cyclist from Madhya Pradesh, received encouragement and commemorative honors from Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya upon her arrival at the Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh today.

    Aasha Malaviya commenced her cycling expedition from Kanyakumari to Siachen in pursuit of a stronger India and in honour of the valiant armed forces to mark the 25 years Kargil Vijay Diwas,

    Aasha Malaviya, hailing from the village of Nataram in Madhya Pradesh, has already completed approximately 3400 kilometers of her cycling journey and arrived in Chandigarh on Wednesday.

    Last year, she undertook a solo cycling expedition spanning 26,000 kilometers across India, dedicated to women’s safety and empowerment.

    During her previous journey, Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya had also honoured Aasha Malaviya, presenting her with accolades to bolster her spirits. This year’s journey continues to inspire admiration for her courage and determination.
