Haryana Governor congratulates three Lieutenants of Chhudani village of Jhajjar
Chandigarh, December 23, 2021: Lauding the craze among the youth of the state to serve the motherland by joining defence forces, Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya today said that serving the nation should be the first and foremost priority of every youth.
“I am so glad to congratulate Hrithik Dhankhar, Aman Sehwag and Ashish Sehwag of Chhudani village on their commissioning as Lieutenants in the Indian Army. They are from one village. It is a matter of great happiness for the youth as well as the entire state that they have been commissioned in the Indian Army from the same village,” said Shri Dattatraya.
Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya also congratulated Shri Sarabjit Dhankar, father of Hrithik Dhankar; Shri Bhagwan Sehwag, father of Aman Sehwag, and Shri Ram Niwas Sehwag, father of Ashish Sehwag, on phone.
“It is a matter of pride for all of us. This will motivate the youth to serve the country and inculcate the spirit of serving the nation among others as well. Service to the nation has become a mission among the youth of Haryana as has been proved by these three dynamic boys,” said Shri Dattatraya.
Shri Ram Niwas Sehwag, father Ashish who is currently working in EME, Secunderabad, said that his son had the passion to join the Indian Army since his childhood. Aman Sehwag’s father Shri Bhagwan Sehwag and Hrithik Dhankhar’s father Shri Sarabjit Dhankhar thanked Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya for his words of courage and appreciation.
They said the people of the whole village are happy as three boys have brought laurels to the village. They also expressed their gratitude to Shri Dattatraya for his phone calls, saying that they were happier as they did not expect that our Governor would call to congratulate them.
It is worth noting that more than 10 per cent of soldiers in the Indian Army in the country are from Haryana. That is why Haryana has been called the Veer Bhoomi.
