Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his punyatithi

Chandigarh, January 30, 2026: Hon’ble Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh paid his humble tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his punyatithi at Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh, today.

Recalling the timeless legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, Hon’ble Governor Prof Ghosh described him as one of the most revered leaders in Indian history.

Hon’ble Governor Prof Ghosh said that Gandhi ji’s ideals of truth, justice, inclusion, non-violence, human rights and harmony continue to illuminate the path for humanity and will always guide society towards building a more united, resilient and inclusive future.

Secretary to Governor Shri DK Behera, IAS, ADC to Governor Sqn Ldr Mohan Krishna P and other senior officials of Lok Bhavan also paid their tribute to the Father of the National Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary.
