Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh participates in Durga Puja celebration at Kalibari Temple

Chandigarh, September 26, 2025: Hon’ble Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, accompanied by his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh, took part in the auspicious Durga Puja celebration at Kalibari Temple in Industrial Area-II, Chandigarh, on Monday.

On the occasion, the Governor extended his greetings to the devotees and emphasized that festivals like Durga Puja symbolize the triumph of good over evil and inspire people to uphold the values of peace, harmony, and social unity.

He also appreciated the efforts of the temple committee and devotees for preserving rich cultural traditions through such celebrations. Hon’ble Governor and his wife joined the rituals and interacted with devotees, sharing in the spiritual fervour of the occasion.
