Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya expresses deep shock over the tragic demise of Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav

Chandigarh, April 4, 2025: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has expressed deep shock at the tragic demise of IAF’s Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav, who lost his life in the Jaguar fighter jet crash near Gujarat’s Jamnagar on the night of April 3.

In a statement issued today, the Hon’ble Governor said: “The untimely death of Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav is a heartbreaking loss to the nation. A brave and committed officer, he laid down his life in the line of duty, upholding the highest traditions of the Indian Air Force.”

The Governor also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, who hails from Bhalkhi-Majra village, Rewari, Haryana.

“I am deeply pained to learn that the young officer had recently got engaged, and his family was preparing for his wedding. In this moment of profound grief, I stand in solidarity with them and pray that they find strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.

Shri Dattatraya also paid rich tributes to the young air warrior, stating that the entire country is indebted to its armed forces personnel who selflessly serve and sacrifice for the nation.

“His sacrifice will always be remembered with pride and gratitude,” he added.
