Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya felicitated artists of Kuchipudi dance from Telangana at Raj Bhavan and extended his best wishes to them the occasion of Teej

Chandigarh, July 31, 2022: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Sunday felicitated artists of Kuchipudi dance from Telangana at Raj Bhavan and extended his best wishes to them the occasion of Teej.

This group of artists, under the leadership of Dr Vanaja Uday, performed Kuchipudi dance in the Teej festival organized in Panchkula and Kurukshetra. These artists performed classical fusion of Kuchupudi, Andhra Natyam and Perini Shivtandavam choreographed by Dr Vanajauday and Kalakrishna.

He honoured the artists, all students of MPA, Department of Dance, PS Telugu University, Hyderabad, at Raj Bhavan today. Shri Dattatraya also complimented Prof Tangada Kishan Rao, Vice Chancellor of the University, over phone for giving the best of training and guidance to MPA students.
