    Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya performing ‘puja’ at ancient Kali Mata Temple, Kalka, Panchkula

    Chandigarh, April 7, 2022: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday said the blessings of ‘Mother’ during Navratras not only help in getting rid of evils and physical ailments but also give moral strength to men. He said these words on the sixth day of Chaitra Navratri after performing ‘puja’ at the ancient Maa Kali Temple located in Kalka, Panchkula.

    Extending his Navratri wishes to the people of the state, Shri Dattatraya said that daughters, sisters and mothers living in our homes are also embodiments of power. They should be given due respect. He said that Navratri is a big festival, in which the mother is worshiped and devotees fast for nine days.

    A large number of devotees including former MLA Smt Latika Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board Shri Ashok Bansal, Secretary, Kali Mata Mandir Board Shri Prithviraj, Chief Priest Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
