Chandigarh July 24 – Hon’ble Governor of Haryana shri Bandaru Dattatreya said that Haryana has become completely Atma Nirbhar in agriculture, milk production, health, roads, sanitation and other services related to electricity supply. During a courtesy call on the Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh on Saturday said Shri Dattatreya. He also met Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and informed about the development plans of the state.
He said that according to the report of the Central NITI Aayog, Haryana ranks first in the country among the fastest growing states. In the agriculture sector, the Haryana government has gone ahead and worked for the welfare of the farmers. “Meri Fasal-Mera Byora”, “E-procurement portal” has been started to facilitate procurement of all crops in the state.
He said that an important step talking in the field of medical, Haryana Government has set a target of opening medical colleges in every district. MBBS in existing medical colleges The M.B.B.S. seats have been increased from 750 to 1850 in medical Colleges. Along with this, yoga is also being promoted in the state and Haryana Yoga Commission has been constituted.
Shri Dattatreya further informed that a network of roads has been laid in the state under the schemes of the central and state governments. “Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor” has been Approval in the state, on which an amount of Rs.5657 crore will be spent. So far 4438 kms have been covered during the tenure of the present government. 2523 crore has been spent on construction and improvement of roads.
He said that special emphasis is being laid on the safety of women in the state. To get complete control over all types of crimes, many programs have been started by the police department. Haryana State Narcotics Bureau is being established. “Dial 112 service has also been started in the state, so that in case of any crisis or emergency, immediate assistance will be provided by the police.
The Governor Shri Dattatreya held a special discussion on sports in his interaction with the Union Ministers. 30 players from the state are participating in the Olympic Games which started in Japan on 23rd July. It is a matter of pride. He expressed hope that the players of the state would be able to win maximum medals for the country by doing their best in the Olympics. He wished all the players good luck.
